This Week in Talkback 16
Whenever I need a quick laugh, I just hop on the Talkback 16 message board:
A shiny nickel for whoever guesses which party "dale" belongs to!
WNEP webmaster Mark Sowers probably needs some Icy Hot after posting this pat-on-the-back response...
Only losers like multi-party politics! Isn't that right, Bush2004?
I.C. drops it like it's hot.

Someone needs to tell the teleprompter operators that Carney's win was NOT an upset. (I'm not blaming Tom Williams and Kim Supon - they only read the teleprompter). An upset is when someone wins when they weren't supposed to win. Carney was always supposed to win. Sherwood was never favored to win that race.

The Associated Press called the governor race at 8pm based on exit polls. That's what you saw at 8:10.
Congratulations to us for getting the news to our website so quickly. ;-)

No more election junk for another two years Yippee. I just wish we were a one party Country, look at the money spent on this election and where it could have went?
I.C. drops it like it's hot.
Who cares? It will just be another person for all you shallow people to slobber over or judge. To put up on a pedestal that they don't warrant, deserve or ask for. They are NEWS PEOPLE... they're job is to report the news. They do a fine job. But have to subject themselves to the constant reviews & fashon advice of you, the viewing audience.

I wouldn't blame Mark Sowers if he had an uncontrollable eye twitch and little ribbons of drool hanging from one corner of his mouth.
It must be like running a kindergarten class, except five-year-olds are smarter.
A recent post suggests that on "veterins day" we need to remember when "...the United Stats army went to war..."
Should I be laughing or weeping?>
maybe he was having problems with his wireless keyboard...but wait, there is no "i" in veterans day.
seriously though Howard, and all vets who may happen here to the blog, I saw a bumper sticker once that read, "If you can read this, thank a teacher. If you can read this in English, thank a Veteran"
I hate Talkback 16. I know it was a good idea some years back, BUT not now.
It's just a waste of time for all involved.
Actually, Dale is right. Whoever wrote the story(a producer maybe?)is the one who screwed up on this.
And if you really want to know what's wrong with this country, just think about how many morons agree with the remark, "I just wish we were a one party Country(sic)..."
Yeah, that'd be good for our republic, make us all the same party, get us all in lock-step. And by God, get MY prayer back in public school.
A new day has dawned across America, get used to it. If genuine Republicans have an ounce of respect, they'll wrestle control of their party away from the hard-right religious nutzoids.
Snoopy's scrapbook?? Has anyone ever seen Snoopy on 16 news? What how about good ol Charlie Brown. Sad isn't it?
Talkback 16 is the TV equivalent of the stupid suggestion-box-on-the-wall. BFD. Bring back Say-So.
To 9:26: Don't throw stones. If you want to thank a teacher, also ask why they didn't teach you how to use capital letters to start a sentence.
2:36, you nit picking twit. Is this English class or an informal blog? I do not think we are being graded on our grammar. Just spell the words properly and sound like you know what you are talking about.
2:36 - don't nitpick. this is a blog, not english class.

"Just spell the words properly and sound like you know what you are talking about."
7:25 PM
IF...YOU...CAN.
Is this English class or an informal blog?
The bad grammar, improper syntax, and deplorable spelling, are symptomatic of a much deeper problem; this business is full of people who don't even have an elementary grasp of the basics.
