Singing with Diane

WYOU anchor Diane Lee has released a CD of Christmas music to benefit the Children's Miracle Network. WYOU has samples from the CD, and ordering information, on their website. Nothing wrong with a second career as a musician. Just ask WNEP's Mike Lewis.

All we need now is a gangsta rap CD from Andy Mehalshick.

Get the complete set.

One of the weather people could put out a cd with songs like, "I Like To Walk In The Rain," "Weather Man," "Isn't It A Lovely Day," "Baby, It's Cold Outside," "Button Up Your Overcoat," etc.

A street reporter can do things like, "Boulevard of Broken Dreams," "On The Street Where You Live," "Sunny Side of the Street" (a duet with the weather person), "Walking My Baby Back Home," and other favorites.

I'm not much at sports, but there's always "Take Me Out to the Ball Game," "The Man on the Flying Trapeze," Buckle Down Winsocki," and such.

For the main seat in the studio: "Anchors Aweigh," unless you are Aaron Brown and then it's "Anchors Away" and "So Long, It's Been Good to Know You."

And no CD would be complete without someone singing "Dirty Laundry".

Listen to the words my friends.

Okay, so she doesn't have a great voice for singing. It's adequate. I mean, she isn't tone deaf. And she IS cute albeit in a Marcia Brady kind of way.

Her anchoring is just as bad as her singing. Learn how to read !

Maybe for her next CD she can sing: "My Ego Got Run Over By The Ratings". Her singing career is going as far as her anchoring.
