Say what?
Stories like this only prove my point that WBRE doesn't care about its website. It's one thing to paste a verbatim script in and pass it off as a story, but whoever posted this story ANDY forgot LYNDALL to TAKE DOUBLE BOX take TAKE CONTROL CENTER the C1.5 GO ¶ Avid ¶ iNEWS ¶ commands ¶ out.
UPDATE: WBRE not only fixed the story, but actually rewrote it in more of a newspaper style, like what WNEP does. Looks like they might be getting a clue on making their website readable!

Would've been funnier if Jayne Anne or someone's line was live and you heard:
"Kill Andy. Take Lyndall. Kill Lyndall. Shoot conrol center in box."
911 would be real busy.
Many exciting things are said over the IFB during newscasts. And by exciting, I mean banal stuff. But sometimes the directors or producers will throw in something that will leave you fighting back a laugh as you come back from commercials.
Either way, reformatting the Williamsport story is a good step. It's more readable than just throwing up a verbatim transcript. Let's see if this continues.
The only reason WBRE fixed the story in question is because you exposed their stupidity. Good job. It's evident more people visit this site then WBRE's site! People read about the stupidity, then went to WBRE's site to see it...but producers must have fixed the problem before too many people caught up to it.
Even if you look past the style issue, doesn't anyone at WBRE check their work?
Sounds like a few will be bailing out of the Nexstar twins, including WBRE's "Hey Elliot" It's right on their website's career opportunities.
