Snedeker on GMA, after all
After the bored housewives of Talkback 16 complained, ABC's "Good Morning America" acquiesed and gave WNEP weather clown Joe Snedeker a plug. The video of his charity bike ride is on WNEP's website, so if you missed yesterday's broadcast, go check it out.
Some tipsters wrote in to say that "Good Morning America" told WNEP Friday's live shot was a long shot, but WNEP's promotions people played it up as if it was a sure thing.

Get real! The real intent of an appearance by Snedeker on GMA was to feature the special work at St. Joseph's. They said he rode for "a local hospital". No mention of St. Joe's at all! Get off the soapbox saying WNEP and Joe wanted glory -a minute of airtime could have meant more donations FOR A WORTHY CAUSE! Seems to me you miss the point totally. If you don't care for sick children, you are SICK yourselves and should review your priorities.
This puts an end to the story, and the biggest "snub job" in the market since Martha Stewart would not answer the door when WBRE arrived in New York City for some Wedding-Planning advice.
Actually, a little sidenote to this saga: Did anyone see the local weather guy from Gainsville on GMA this morning? Mike Barrs gave him about 30 seconds to say "Hi" and chat about how hot it is. Funny, this guy with nothing to offer gets on..and Snedeker with his bike ride and charity doesn't even get :15 secs. HA!!!

Joe Snedeker may be a slight celebrity in NEPA, but to ABC HQ in NYC, Snedeker is a nobody, which the local pierogi-eaters seem to forget. What they also forget is Snedeker is a rude, immature, homophobe who makes job-losing worthy comments on the air almost daily, yet for some reason, he is still there. No amount of charity bike rides can make up for the countless homophobic and anti-woman comments he has made. Combine that with Frankenstein junior Tom Williams and 3 brain celled mindless Mindy Ramsey and you have the worst morning news team ever created.
