Who wants an iPod?

Either WYOU's promotions department didn't check their work before posting it online, or that's a really crappy iPod that can only hold a 30-second video. But it's not like many people in this market know the difference between megabyte and gigabyte anyway.

UPDATE: WYOU fixed the banner. I also shrunk down the banner here, because I got e-mails about how it was messing up the page layout. You can click it to see the original size, though.

Based on their website, no one at WYOU knows the difference between meg and gig. If they did, perhaps they would update the site more often.

Based on WYOU newscasts and ratings, viewers in this area might not be able to discern meg from gig but can identify the worst of the schlock and avoid it in droves.

Based on their demos, I'm suprised an mp3 player is being used as a come-on. I'd suspect arthritis meds would be more effective.

Perhaps, instead of bribing viewers, WYOU should axe their news and play infomercials. It would increase ratings, improve quality and provide needed capital. Then again what would WBRE use for filler in its newscasts?

And it would put an end to the "Oh, hello, here's what's happening" walkout teasers by better-singer-than-newsreader Lee. That, in itself makes this suggestion the best!

Just an Elmira station out of its league...

It says 30MG -- is that milligrams? The lightest audio device ever, weighing less than an aspirin?

Apparently you don't know the difference either because megabyte is MB not MG

I know that. But I'm guessing whoever did the WYOU banner thought they were referring to megabyte. At least that's the benefit of the doubt.

The funny thing was that the banner was wrong, but if you clicked on it and went to the page they had it correct on there.

WHY doesn't YOU just give up??? The ONLY way they'll boost their numbers is "go dark" when it comes to news---then have their reporters/photographers "go" to 28 and then try to take on NEP.
But that probably wouldn't work...they'd find someway to screw that up too!
